Aquired a Model 36-1 and Model 37
Was at a local gun show today and found a Model 36-1 3" J531xxx (which I had been looking to acquire for a while) and Model 37 218xxx. I believe that the 36-1 is a 76-77 and the 37 is around 60-61. The serial number on the stocks match the serial number on the 37, felt like they had never been removed. I got a 36 754xxx with the 1.875 barrel last year, now it has a big brother. Don't believe the stocks on the short 36 are original being smooth.

Great handguns,,,a Md#37 was one of my first and still have it yet today.
Md#36 is in my carry routine. Wouldn’t give up either one!

Good Luck with the hunt. It took me a while to find one. Of course now I'm looking for a 3" 37.

I had a 36 3” square butt many years ago and let it go. Truly regret it.
