Very nice. Doc44 probably has the answer on production numbers but I would guess the 6.5" were most produced, the 8.375" second and the 4" last. Wouldn't be surprised if the "long and short of it" reversed positions.
It appears the previous owner, or their family, "just wanted to break even" on the sale. Accusations of theft to follow. Enjoy!

Go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200 dollars.

Yup, that's a screaming deal for sure. Make sure the serial number has not been removed.

I'm always happy for folks who get screaming deals on really cool things without taking of advantage of the seller. That is one really nice package you have. My 29-2 is a 4 inch version from around 1970. However, I don't have the box and other goodies.

Very nice probably one the the last pinned and recessed versions.I have only come across three four inch barreled 29/629 in person in the past 38yrs. They were not common, at least in New England.

Grand theft larceny! There has to be a reward for your arrest. j/k. I paid that for mine in 1973.
I want you to pick lottery numbers for me!

10 years for grand theft!
I'll hold it for you until you get out...if some others here don't beat me to it.
I know the year is young, but you're in the running for deal of the year.

Congratulations, it is a very nice revolver, but the price is incredible and also with ammunition, in my country (Argentina) for a weapon like yours at least $ 1500, the weapon without box or accessories or ammunition.
A box of Magtech of 50 shots $ 55.
Thanks for showing it and please after trying it tell us how it shoots.

Well done! The one I'm waiting on from 1977/78 cost just under double yours. Considering the condition and that I've been looking for a good -2 4" for a looong time it was worth it to me.
Congrats and enjoy!

Deal of the year? More like deal of the decade!
Nothing like getting a 75% discount on a VERY desirable gun.
Who did you have to threaten to get that deal?
