Model 17-4 Front Sight?
How is the front partridge sight attached to the barrel on a Model 17-4? There is no pin in the barrel and no attachment hole/point in the muzzle. I guess it could be milled as part of the barrel but it really looks like two pieces.

You have to look very close as there is a pin holding the front sight in.

What he said. I replaced mine several years ago. The pin is almost invisible.
