Default Departmental stamps

I have a 66 with ‘ OC B- 165’ stamped into the frame, left side above the trigger.
Does anyone recognize the markings?
It was bought from someone who said he was a SkyMarshall, but they’re not supposed to advertise the fact that they are plus do/did they ever use .357 magnums?
It’s a well used 66 that I like because I have no qualms taking it hiking in the woods often and using it as intended instead of being a safe queen.

After looking online all I could find was the Organized Crime Bureau?
And I added the Pachmayers, it came to me with large Firestones

No knowledge of this stamping. But the way the B is offset from the OC would make me think that the OC is its own abbreviation (Orange County? Office of Corrections?) and the B-165 might be an inventory number. The whole thing is not particularly neatly applied, apparently messing up the 1 or double-striking it.

A bored armorer maybe.
Another reason it’s a field gun

I agree OC/B-165. Likely a county sheriff outfit with the initial O. Back in the day sheriff dept more likely to carry magnums.
