Default Just Acquired a Pair of Model 10's

Hello, I've just come across a pair of Model 10's, the first being a 10-2 w/a 4" pencil barrel, s/n:C553259 and the letters SPM stamped on the butt. This revolver also has "Davidson's Prescott, AZ" stamped on the left side of the frame directly beneath the cylinder and the initials Y.J. under the cylinder release. The second is a 10-6 w/a 4" heavy barrel, s/n70126. I was wondering about the app. date of shipment and if anybody had any idea what the "SPM" represented. Thanks in advance.

I do not have my book with me, but I would say the C55 model 10-2 is probably late 61-early 62 manufacture with non original later grips

I think that was supposed to be a D, right?

In that case, the 10-6 is from 1968, second half.

The SPM on the 10-2 stands for “Service de Police de Montréal”.

Yes, the smiley is suppose to be a "D". I guess I need to proof read my post. Thanks for the information.
