I doubt that it is stainless steel, the model 29 is a carbon steel frame. It is more likely to be hard chrome.
Please post some photos. We like photos

I'm pretty low tech, but I bet if you search this forum you'll see a blue Magnaport Int'l "Combat Mini" and in Guns for Sale a 29-1 Combat Mini that was not magnaported' So, I know that this 29-2 had it's finish changed when Magmaport cutomized it to a Combat Mini(Cut down to a snubby, round-butted to fit K frame rb grips, magnaported and MP logo put on. Looking for a current value. Thanks...

Value can be as little as $500 up to $2,000. Condition and a willing buyer are required to hit the high water marks.
I have seen customs like that sell in the mid 3-digits due to lack of an interested buyer, but with a high quality job. Conversely, I have seen some pretty ****** custom jobs go for over 2 grand due to two buyers really wanting that piece (45 Long Colt).
I hope that helps.

D1911: That's certainly a beautiful piece of workmanship!! MagnaPort has a reputation for great work, so I would think it has a great action and shoots very well.

They do excellent work with or without the Magna-porting.
