Default Pinned barrel transition serial?

I realize the pinned barrels were phased out over a period of time in the 1980-1981 time frame but does anyone know of an approximate serial when the N frames were pretty much unpinned? Wondering how close my pinned 25-5 is to the departure point. Serial is N921936. I see 25-5s in pinned and unpinned configurations.

Thanks and have a safe day.

According to the SCSW 3rd, unpinned barrels in the N frames occurred in 1982. That would have been in the AAD-AAF range.

I had a 29-3 with a serial number in the upper 900,000 range. Not pinned or recessed of course so I believe that those features were dropped late in the N series.

I know the Model 29-3 was in production by serial number N946000. Prior to the introduction of the 29-3 there were guns made from parts S&W was using up; some had counterbored charge holes in the cylinder and no barrel pin while others had a barrel pin with a cylinder that was not counterbored. Your 25-5 is near the end of the production of guns with pinned barrels, but it is impossible to say exactly how close it is to the end.
