Smith Model 10-7 Ejector Pins
Hello everyone,
I'm new here and I have some questions about a newly acquired 10-7 revolver. It looks like one of the ejector pins on the cylinder is missing. Are these a press fit? Wheres a good source for replacements? Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I contacted S&W customer service and they sent me 2 for a model 19, this was about three months ago, cost was only a few bucks shipped.

Good advice, I appreciate it. I like the gun, it's well used but I want it to be mechanically tip top.

The pins are .055" x.210". Smith and Wesson parts dept may still carry them.
If you can't get them from S&W and you don't want to make your own, send me your address in a PM I can send you a replacement. I make them out of stainless steel piano wire.

S&W largely depends on who answers the phone. I've ordered them no problem, and I've gotten people who swear no such thing exists.
Yes, a forum member makes them, excellent quality and reasonable price.. For the life of me I can't remember who. It will come to me.

Struck out at S&W (twice). Part #050140000
must be discontinued. I'll try making my own. Thanks for everyone's input. Greatly appreciated.

That brings up a question. Suppose someone wants to change out an extractor star on a cylinder. Generally the pin and pin hole of the new star will not align. Is the procedure to remove the old pin and match drill a new pin hole in the cylinder?

I did it once. Installed new star, stuck fired cases in all chambers. Drilled 2 new holes one arm off from original locations, Then re drilled holes in star one numerical size larger. Tight in cylinder and slip int0 star.
