Default value 22 lrf ctg model 51

new here. i have a smith%wesson 22lrf ctg model 51 no dash.3.5" barrell, hand eject, serial is m320xx. doesnt appear to have been fired.no scratch no scuffs. its to small for my hand and i want to upgrade. its been in its case untouched for over 25 years.i believe it was purchased for my mother around 1977 what other info would be needed to access a fair value.

Welcome to the forum!
The Model 51 is chambered for the .22 MRF cartridge (magnum rimfire). Don’t try to shoot .22 LR cartridges in the gun.

The value as described is somewhere around $700 - $800 for the gun only. An as new example in the original box with tools and paperwork can bring over $1000.

Pictures would help. I'm sure you mean 22MRF not lrf. Probably worth about the same as the larger K frame to which you wish to "upgrade." Without pictures, but assuming excellent condition, where I shop $800+/- would be about right. Welcome to the forum.
