Default Mystery grips

The grips fit on my J frame guns but the "horn" sticks up above the frame. They are somewhere between the regular grips and the high horn grips on my centennial as far as length goes. They are about 3 3/8" long/tall. They are round butt, black washer, diamond magna's with serial number 330060.

I also have a pair of K frame square butt grips with a stamped "K" on each grip and serial number 192205 on one grip. They are black washer, no diamond. Would these be from serial number K192205?

The first set sounds to be a type seen on some Bodyguards (models 38 and 49). The serial number is from about 1963.

K192205 would be from a gun made in 1952 and C192205 from 1951, in the era of diamond stocks. So the most likely gun would be D192205 from 1969, most likely from some type of fixed sight .38 or .357.

Photos of both would help for positive IDs.

The J's do fit my Model 38, the tip of the horn is just a tiny bit past the frame but this gun is much younger than the grips so that could explain the non perfect fit.
