28-2 & no dash 10
Fair price for a 28-2 & a No Dash Model 10. Both are NIB but would probably be listed as LNIB...both are 4". 28-2 has a hang tag from the shop with the '70s price. Neither have paperwork or tools.
Thank you,
rick

The 28-2, LNIB might be around $900-1200 with the goodies. Just a rough estimate. Maybe more.

The prices are going up on these. The 28-2/6”/ blue was around $695 more than a decade ago. I been out of touch lately. The m27-2 were $795.all in mint condition. I believe these will hit $1,200 to $1,500+ soon.
For a while the prices seem to level off that’s what I’m saying. I think in the near future they will soar pricewise if you can find anything in 357 mag. The plastic guns are keeping many shooters busy. There price shopping not magnum shopping.
I said this many times here if a s&w n frame is priced under $1,000 in good condition grab it.

Presuming both guns are LNIB, I'd offer $1300 for the package and see what they do. The 28-2 is probably worth $900, and the 10 is $650.

I would look the boxes over carefully if considering to pay premium price for "LNIB." I have seen very few truly NIB that didn't have the paperwork and cleaning kits. Not saying it doesn't happen but in my experience the box often isn't "the" box. Good luck.

Well, pictures help. In the absence of pics, serial numbers help. I recently posted that I saw LNIB 28-2's on 2 occasions go for 1200 on the auction block. I am sure alcohol and testosterone were involved. Both 4". if i have to pay that for a 28, i am going to look for 27's. If all is as you say, maybe 1K of 28, the M10, no dash amybe 6-700. Check the boxes out. Lots of fake stickers around. Look at the ejector rod for bluing wear, and the recoil shields. I would be more confident if you know the person and the guns. No tools or docs make me cautious, but I have lost tools and docs on guns too.
keep us informed

If you can swing it, buy them. This quality of revolver will not be made again.
