Diamond Pro grips not fitting
Has anyone here used the Diamond Pro grips on their S&W's?
I purchased a pair for my 13-2 3 inch round butt and no matter how hard I try I just cannot get them to fit.

Any tricks to make it fit?

I tried the same grips earlier wouldn't budge , looked inside and found piece of rubber peeled back . Scraped it out with screw driver and needle nose pliers. When finally did get it couldn't line up the threads with pin hole After 45 min, said heck with it and cut it off.

I spent close to an hour trying to get them to fit my 629 3”. No success. I followed the directions, removed the pin, watched the YouTube etc. They are getting returned. I ordered Hogues

Those are so big they look like they could be for a round butt N frame.

If you are in love with with the grips, there is a possible fix. Crimson Trace LG 207 grips fit K,L, +N guns. There is a little filler piece for using this on K or L to fill the gap at the back top. 1 of these MAY do the trick. My 64 wearing L.G. you may be able to see the piece. Bob

The gap at the top is because they will not fully seat on the frame. The hole for the screw is about an 1/8 of an inch off (to low). Just getting it to seat that much was an exercise in lots of pushing an pressure.

It should fit. Maybe some excess material on the inside, as jbtrucker suggests.

I have 3 different N Frames wearing Diamond Pros. Never had an installation issue, and the fit is perfect. By far my favorite rubber grips.

I put a pair on a friends 386 and they installed easily and fit great. I truly like the grips and it made shooting such a lightweight much easier.
Trying to fit a set on my M13 was an exercise in futility. The fit was so tight that it was impossible to get them on. I even applied a bit of grease to the frame of the gun and they still would not go all the way on.
