M28-2 Serial number help please
I just picked up a good condition M28-2 with a serial number of N4841X, could the forum help with a date range.

Take another look at that serial number. If the OP quoted it right, it is a 5-digit number, which would make it 1969-72.

Mine is N395xx, 6". Bought it new, but can't remember the exact date. I will search for the box next chance I get, which will be at least a few days. I love that gun!
