I have a smith and Wesson model 36 no dash made in 1964. The gun was given to me by a neighbor who I help out. He said he purchased it new and never fired it. It has the original box and paperwork. Also the original purchase receipt from 1964 for 64.00. I’m just trying To get a value of the gun, thanks.

However, there were only two variations of model 36 made in 1964, with either a 2" and 3" barrel. Blue or nickel finish and round and square butt frames would have been the different features. Not a huge difference between all the different sub-types so I would guess its value at about $600.
