14-4
I picked this one up from my FFL yesterday:
No box or docs and the grips are as shown. It's in great shape, good timing, no endshake. S/N 90K4xxx. Once this pandemic wanes some, I intend to shoot some matches with it.

Very nice, now dress it up with a set of nice Culina walnut targets! I have a 17-4 with an 8-3/8" barrel, goes great with my 1948 K22.

Very nice, I had one just like it, but, like a dumba**, I traded it. Should not have done that.

Nice Model 14-4! Hopefully, there is no corrosion hiding beneath the rubber stocks. If there is no corrosion, I'd ditch 'em and put a nice set of wood stocks.

Your 14-4 looks minty, congrats! My first S&W was a 1948 K22 my late father gave me. The first S&W I ever bought was a 14-4, brand new at a sporting goods store in 1980.

Congratulations on your purchase! I have a -3. It shoots well, looks good, and was a great value! Bob

I know the feeling. I did the same with a 17-4. Cost me much more to buy a replacement.
Ah, well. Buy once, cry once.
