Default Correct stocks 28-2 ?

Hi folks,

Which variety of target stocks would have been made available to fit a Highway Patrolman in the S273,000 range?

While I love the look of the Magnas with Tyler’s T Grip, the Targets fit my paws a bit better.

Thanks ! All input welcome !

Diamond targets made of American walnut. The stocks would have the relieved area on the left stock panel. The stocks would look like those below, but would have a diamond around the escutcheon and nut.

Scroll down to post #6 in this thread. I believe that black washers are correct for your serial number range.

If you are looking for a pair of N frame SQ Diamond targets, the " want to buy section of this forum, and ebay are good bets, and every day you wait the price is going up another 2.00.

They are getting rather salty in price

Mine are all in a drawer above my workbench. Not a fan. I suspect lots of them are hiding in drawers and boxes. A fad in the 1950s before wider triggers were readily available. Not so much anymore.

Kind of like me and t-grip adapters.

That's the only gun that I have with the shoes.
They came on it so I'll leave them on it.

This M28 came with the shoe. I shot it for a bit then gave it to a forum member. To each his own! Correct stocks 28-2 ?
