New. To Me Model 35-1
I picked up this shooter grade mod.35
to keep my good one out of holsters.
I sighted it in, it will out shoot my 63’s.
It has finer sights (1/10”) and longer
Sight plane.
New and old

They are fun and accurate revolvers. I have a pre-35 shipped in 1955 or ‘56. Loves the CCI and Aguila standard velocity ammo. Not a common revolver so always garners attention at the range from the more knowledgeable shooters. Enjoy!

I have always liked the 35’s and would love to find one in shooter grade ( at a shooter grade price!) I have not seen one for sale in person in decades.

I acquired a 35-1 in excellent condition as part of a trade. What are these going for these days. Hard to find any examples.

Need pictures to provide an accurate assessment of condition. But going with your "excellent" rating and assuming everything is original and mechanically good I wouldn't expect to find one where I shop for less than $800 and more likely priced between $1000-$1200. If nice and with box/papers anything under $1k is probably a pretty good deal. Last one (only one) I actually bought was four years ago and I paid $775 for it.
bdGreen who posted the "group shot" above is the resident expert on these and could probably tell you exactly what they're going for these days. Good luck.

You can't find any 35's because, apparently, bdGreen has ALL of them He should let us know when the price drops

I consider it excellent. Only blemish is a cylinder turn line. Correct numbered grips. Dates to 1970.

Question: Does anyone have a flat latch 35-1? I don't recall seeing one here (or maybe I just overlooked it, until not too long ago I was blissfully unaware of the 35 rabbit hole).
Book says 35-1 began in 1960, and the thumbpiece changed 1966, so there's gotta be some flat latch 35-1 out there, right?
Edited to add gratuitous M35 pic . . .
