Default Smith & Wesson 25 - 2

I must like to show my stupidity! AKA lack of knowledge.
When I review the Smith & Wesson standard catalog version 4, I notice that the 25 - 2 has the same price apparently from 1961 on into the 70s. Cannot see the value not being different.
I have an early 3 screw from approximately 1962. S-frame with diamond N Target grips. # 2233xx. Can't see how the value lines up with a mid 70 version. Please help me out here! Mine is not a collector, but a very nice grade shooter. Thanks!

Well, assuming 2 exactly the same models, and same caliber, with the same usage, and same accessories and the same condition I would say your older model would be worth more, especially with diamond targets.

Great looking revolver, my 25-2 is from the 70's, N serial #. Great shooting revolver IMHO. I'm not worried about value of mine since I will never sell it.
