Early Model 57
Model 57 shipped in June 1964 fitted with Herrett Trooper stocks (figured walnut with fine checkering).

That's a really nice one Doc. I always had a soft spot for the Mod 57; mine is long gone though.
I hate to dispute a point with someone of your stature but aren't those Herrett's Troopers not Jordan Troopers? I always thought of these as being the Jordan version with the more radiused back and rounded bottom edges. Photo below on my N-Frame

Sceva...I believe you are correct. Herrett Trooper stocks, not Jordan Troopers.
