Default Model 19 trigger???

I just got my first model19, a dash 4 and noticed it does not have a trigger stop. Wasn't a trigger stop standard on 19s?

You can buy them cheap or make an internal. The internal is a rod inside the rebound slide spring.

Early 19's had the trigger stop.

However, early on Smith and Wesson figured out that a large portion of the 19 production was going to police and defensive use.

There for, they were quickly eliminated as having too much liability on defensive handguns.

I probably have a stop and screw if you want to add it. Most likely it did not come with one from the factory.
