Serial # on my combat masterpiece is K197078 maybe 1952.

With a 6" barrel, it should be a Model 35-1. The Kit Guns only came with 2" and 4" barrels. Unless the barrel was swapped. Or maybe the frame was mismarked. What's up?

That revolver clearly has 5 screws. The top sideplate screw is #5. The one in the front of the trigger guard is #4. This one will have both and we can see #5 in your picture.

The 34-1 6 in.barrel was installed at the factory also they stamped the serial #
on the cyl 51422.I think the mdl.35 all had a square butt.
