I was putting the car in my name and the premium was going to be $472 / year. Instead I put in my dad's company name and it was $117 / year.

Good luck. I had one of the first 640s in .357 and it was stolen from my truck at Bass Pro Shop.
That's why I started making vehicle safes. That's a great business now days.

Well, lucky for you, he does not seem to have carried it much...

I found one in a pawn shop a few weeks ago with a price tag of $899.00. I offered the guy $600 and he told me it was worth more than that and he couldn't sell it right now anyway as it was listed on GB starting at $600.00. "Go bid on it" the guy said. "I already did" my son said. There was two days left on the auction with no bids. The guy listed it where nobody would see it. It had been "tinkered" with some but it was stuff I would have done years ago. A white front sight insert had been added. A wide smooth trigger had been added. An action job was apparently added as the trigger pull is smooth as butter in single and double action. Since the 28 was in my state all I paid extra was 7% sales tax. This thing shoots like a dream.
