No, just a 8 3/8 Original whithout accessories.
All these guns date between 1962 and 1980.

Pre-27 series can’t be found in Switzerland. I dream of a pre-war 357 in 3,5 or 5 inches...

My 1982 8 3/8 nickel 27-2 was in a presentation case like that but not in as good of shape.

Not too long ago I had quite a few M27s and other .357 Magnums. I too wanted a pre-war but never acquired one.

Pictured here from top to bottom,
1959 8 3/8 M27
1960 6 1/2" M27
1961 6" M27
1975 5" M27-2
1957 4" pre-27
1955 3.5" pre-27
1968 6" nickel M27-2

I sold all of them except the 1960 6 1/2" M27 and the 5" M27-2 and I kept my 6" M66-1 and my 6" M686.

I also sold a 4" and 6" 19-2, 1982 8 3/8" M27-2, a 6 1/2" Bangers 8 shot M27-7, M520, M627-2 and a 4' and 6" 686.

Your M29 collection is impressive.

I finally figured it out. Rubi has access to Mr Peabody’s way back machine. That’ how he always comes up with these gems! As usual good lookin’ piece!

Your time frame is off by twenty years. The 357 was introduced in 1935, the 44 came out in 1955.

Kenny,

Great looking revolver. You really do a good job cleaning them prior to photographing.

I need to pay attention to your method.

Thanks Kevin.

I learned a lot right here in this forum and from my good friend George Dye.

We have followed your progress. But your work also shows a talent that many do not have. I work with my hands every day but do not think I could get the polish you do on a revolver.

I am surprised it works on blued guns. I would have been afraid to try it. Has anybody heard of or used Lucas tool box buddy lubricant on their guns. I have limited use and the product seems to work very well. A machinist friend says it is unequalled in rust protection.

Flitz and Wenol in the blue tube are great for removing powder burns on blued and nickel plated revolvers. I have used both successfully (only the latter now) for years, but use them sparingly. Clenzoil Field & Range is also great for any brand of firearm.

I just put a dab on the end of my finger and gently rub the gun and then wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth.

I do the same with the Ren Wax but prefer to lightly buff the finish with microfiber cloths made by Flitz.

Thanks again Kevin.

The credit gets spread around a bit. I have a few nice guns to start with.

I take my pictures outside in the early morning and late evening when its still light but there is no direct sunlight. And I take several pictures and pick the best ones.

That and I like taking pictures.

Yep, I notice you only had two likes on this post, but don't let that stop you from enjoying your favorite Smith and Wesson! It's your prize my friend, more importantly Smith and Wesson's have always been created for pistolero's....

not folks that wanted a pretty trinket, now they could argue there's so little factory support for these beauties that you would be taking a "huge risk"? but a few 44 Silvertips is NOT gonna hurt that chick, 44 specials would likely satisfy your itch, but if not, a couple cylinder full of 210's would likely be very impressive indeed!

The gents who purchased the original 44 triple locks and Reg Mags would find our present situation with these amazing handguns rather sad indeed, yep, sad indeed!
