Model 60
I have a chance to buy this 60 no dash. All papers, tools, and box included. The only blemish is the turn line. Otherwise perfect.
What would be the right price range?

I’ve had mine for years and if the price is right you’ll enjoy owning one.

$750-800 all day. Let me know if you don’t buy it! (edit: I do NOT need another one!)

I don't follow the "R" serial numbers closely, but I'd guess if the serial number on the butt matches the one on the box it's from around the mid-'70s.
Wow, RG and the 'Kid offered up some real-world prices. I'm of Scots heritage so I'd want to pay less!

I’m with Two-Bit Cowboy, I think $700 plus is high. Recently bought a Model 60 no dash Square Butt for $675, not an extremely rare bird, but more so than a round butt.
Take what you will from that.

Well, you might find someone willing to take less than $700, but the guns and the good prices are getting to be few and far-between. I gave $400 for my last Model 60-7, but that was last year before the gun-panic started.
You didn't say, but they must have given some hint of what they want, didn't they?

I paid $450 for my no dash 60 about 5-6 years ago and have carried it every day since. Mines not for sale, but with no box or docs and if forced to sell, I'd ask $600 for it today.

GerSan, he did not indicate what price he is looking for. He just said he’d be willing to sell if the price was right. Now that I have an idea of current value, I can have a better informed conversation...after I decide if I really want it. I’ve been on a tare lately, buying a revolver about every 6 weeks.
My name is Stroker468. I have a problem.

You don't have a problem. I have been buying several every week.

I don't know about the prices or values. I have a nice one, near NIB that was sent to me by a friend in Alabama. It is a 70's revolver with the "R" prefix. He had three of them and decided I should have one. It stays in the safe. I have an M&P for a carry gun. Big Larry

Prices Sure Have Gone Up
I bought a NIB model 60 for $160. Oh, I forgot to mention it was over fifty years ago. From the original Lew Horton retail store in Framingham, MA.

I bought my first NIB mod 60 in 1977 for a crisp Franklin, been known to pay a lot more since then. 600.00 is the cheapest I have heard of for one in really good used condition lately.

I would say $600 - $700 in that condition.
