Looking for an original set of cleaning tools that would have came with my 3.5” 27-2 back in 1974. Looking on ebay and there’s some options. I believe the “hook” on the end is what would have originally came but how long would the supplied rod have been for a 3.5” barrel?

I believe they shipped the same rod for the 3 1/2" barrel as they did for the 4" Model 28 (27s with a 4" barrel are relatively rare).

For reference, here is one from a little bit later, but it would look the same. This one is for a 6" barrel, but you get the idea.


Added: I just dug out one from one of my 4" HPs. It measures exactly 5 1/8" from the top of the loop to the threaded end. I hope this helps.
