A totally great self defense Revolver. It will be easy to shoot double action. With light recoil, Low noise and very good accuracy.

I have an earlier iteration of that Model. It doesn’t get carried a lot but it does get carried.

Great, smooth double action, hardly any recoil and accurate.

I have been looking for a S&W model 30 or its older equivalent for several years. The ones I have found are either over priced or I am broke at the time. They are just not that many around these parts. I guess their owners want to keep them.

Nice pistols.
The model 30s are such sweet little pistols.
My mom is 83 now and lives alone. I set her up with a three inch several years ago.

I have a 3" 31-1 which is also a super sweet shooter. Mine has been reamed to take 32 H&R Magnum rounds if I want to shoot 'em, although I mostly shoot lower powered loads. My favorite is a 115g coated lead bullet over 2.5g of Trail Boss in a 32 Mag case that's comfortable and shoots exactly to the sights at 15 yards. Energy, and kick, are about the same as the only 32 Long factory round I've fired (Fiocci 97g FMJ.)

It's hard to beat a 32 revolver for pure shooting fun.
