Default Price check on a S&W 10-8 Snubby

I have an opportunity to purchase a S&W 10-8 2" Barrel. The barrel is pinned and original grips are present. I'd say the gun is 85%-90% original condition. The shop wants $499.00 for it. I'm having a little trouble nailing down a price point. Is this on the mark or ?

Blue or nickel, square butt or round? IMO a RB brings a bit more money but everyone has a preference. For a number of years now Iíve felt like any S&W revolver in proper working order and very good or better condition is worth at least $400

Also, the model 10-8 has either a 4" bull barrel (common) or a 3" bull barrel (uncommon). A 2" barrel would be on a model 10-7, which would fit with the pinned version.

As you describe it I think the price is high, but these are crazy times.

I was actually thinking that myself but you never know with S&W.

Can’t hurt to make an offer but I’d go for it.

That price might have been a bit high before the bug hit, but in light of the election results, rioting, guns and ammo in super high demand---which won't go away any time soon, that's probably not an out of line price nowadays. See if you can get $499 or, better yet $475 out the door, but if you really want this gun especially for a solid CCW choice, I'd snag it.

You canít get anything in 9mm plastic for anything at that price. 6 months ago I would say it was too much....but now, they arenít getting any cheaper. If you want it or in need of a piece to carry you canít go wrong. My model 10-8 in 3inch.
