My .357 Magnums
I'll start off with my favorite. Shipped March 11, 1960 my 6.5" Model 27 that I added the Coke Bottle grips.
For me, I beleive that these 6.5" Model 27s are the epitome of handguns.
The rest of them are in random order.
Shipped in May 1978 my 5" Model 27-2.
Shipped December 1978 my Model 28-2. I do have its original Magna grips.
Shipped May 26, 2017 - Model 60-14 Lady Smith. Still unfired since leaving the factory.
Shipped Sept 5, 1980, Model 66-1 Combat Magnum.
My brother carried this one for the first 10 years of his 32 year career in Law Enforcement. Sent back to the factory for some trigger work and the addition of a smooth target trigger.
I took these Target stocks off a 68-2 prior to selling it because I felt they fit this gun perfectly. I acquired it with Hogue Mono grips and I don't have the original target stocks for it. 
Shipped in January 1983 my Model 686 was used for competition.
Its has had extensive trigger work done, a target trigger added and a Millet rear sight.
This one also had a set of Hogue Mono grips in it when I acquired it.
This is the most accurate pistol that I own.
Shipped in April 1995 this Model 640-1 is the first gun that I ever purchased. I bought it unfired since leaving the factory in 2008.
I added the Smooth Combat Grips. They are a perfect match for this little .357 Magnum.
At one time I had 20 S&W .357 Magnums and I kept these seven.

That 5" 27 is the "shiznit" You could do just about anything with that gun, self defense, hunt medium sized game, shoot competition. And it's beautiful

Very cool...  ...
My recent re-entry into the collecting world was actually spurred when I sold my only two .357 Magnums last summer, a 686-3 (2.5", Goncalo Alves combat stocks) and my IMI Timberwolf pump carbine (factory hard chrome finish)...The $2500 I gained from those two sales quickly disappeared into the rabbit hole of S&W collecting...  ...Ben

My brother carried that when he was working security with the Secret Service during a visit here in Utah from President Reagan.
He said at the time it was his favorite.

Nice assortment/collection.
Geez though I hope you don't get RK Mesa going on 357's or anything for that matter it gets painful to watch.

I fully agree with your assessment of the 6.5 27...unfortunately I only have one, but it sure is pretty in my opinion. Love the Cokes on yours.
I found this one locally, which is very unusual for my neck of the woods. Dates to 1958-1959

One of my favorite 357's.....
This is a 19-2 shipped to TX Dept of Public Safety and likely issued a Texas Ranger (who tossed it under the seat of his car in favor of a 1911 of some sort).

I love it. It looks brand new.
Mine was shipped with checkered walnut grips like yours but I don't have them.
When I got mine it was already wearing Target stocks and I replaced them with these era correct Diamond Targets.
I later decided that it needed an nice set of Cokes so I had a good friend find those Cokes for me. They are like brand new.
Thank you George Dye, Salt Lake Collectibles for finding me the perfect set of Cokes.

I bought this 6 1/2” model 27–2 from a Delta Airlines pilot. He served as an auxiliary Florida Highway Patrolman and shot on the pistol team with it. If revolvers could think this one would be wondering what happened to the guy who could put all of them in the middle of the target.

I love the looks of the Patridge sight on a long barrel. The M19-2 I had many years ago had one.
I only have three .357's, would love to find a 3-1/2 or 5 inch M27-2.
Top is my 1973 M28-2, middle is a M19-3 from 1974, and bottom is a M66-1 from 1980. I have the original magnas for the M28 and the football targets for the M19.

fine bunch of revolvers and i always like a pic opportunity.27-2, 28, 66, 66-2 and my birth year 14 cause i haven't posted that pic in a while. 27 wearing BMM Stags. 14 wearing jigged bone that i found on a pre war 38 hand ejector that i won on GB for $275. kenny

Just a spectator on this thread. But I do love me some .357 Magnums (it's a sickness).

Great collection of .357 Magnums. I'll bet that 60-14 Lady Smith is areal handful with magnum loads.  Probably why it's "Still unfired since leaving the factory."
My boys and I took a little .38 Special 642-2 out to the Desert for an afternoon of shooting and 5-shots of MILD 38 Specials was about all any of us could handle out of that little light-weight J frame.

Thank you. I love .357s.
Not sure why I haven't shot that Lady Smith yet but I have put quite a few .357 rounds thru my 640-1. It might be a little heavier though. 
My EDC is a 642-1 with .38 loads.
