The two Model 37s were packed and ready for shipping on the same Julian Day: 1985, July 10th.

They don't have pinned barrels, and the serial number won't be stamped inside the right grip panel.

Are they blue/nickel, round/square butt?

I've been seeing asking prices as you describe their condition between $500 and $600, but I haven't seen any sell for those prices recently.

I'm sure one of the Model 19 gurus will be along soon to help with that one.

44K numbers were issued in 1978. Ship date is likely 1978 or 1979.

An ANIB Model 19-4 with the 6" barrel is probably about a $600 gun at this point.

I know we use shorthand here for the alloy frame guns. But for clarity, those frames were not blued; they were anodized. The barrel and cylinder, being steel, were blued.
