Default An unexpected Christmas gift

My Father in law gave me this pristine Model 15 for Christmas, says if was his fathers that he bought back in the late seventies, serial number dates it at 1978-79. Anyone have a T grip they do not need?
Even has an original S&W holster.
What a great gift..

You’ve got a great father in law! Very handsome revolver he has shared with you. The Combat Masterpiece is a fine shooting revolver and yours is a beautiful example in the nickel.

What a great gesture by one of our fellow members!
-And, what a great FIL! My late first wife’s father was one of my all-time favorite people; we shared common interests and truly spoke the same language. I learned much from him.

Thank you for posting your beautiful Model 15 and the story of how it was given to you.
