Default Playing dress-up with bananas

I’ve recently picked up two pairs of J-frame banana stocks. One pair was purchased from member Weatherby, the second was a gift from my good friend kansasgunner. I like the way they feel. I also like the way they look. The blue gun is a heavy barrel 36-1. The nickel gun is a standard barrel 36. Enjoy, even though the photographer used a cell phone with bad lighting. Haha.

Very nice Jim. I got a set from Weatherby( Paul ) a while back. He has a tree out back where he grows them

I played dress up with bananas once. I'll never be allowed back at THAT mall...

Back on topic ... Ive never really cared for the way banana stocks look or fit my hand. They just seem malformed. But that's why Baskin Robbins has so many flavors.

Back on topic... (Yikes, guys! Save it for facebook)

Here's a probable contract overrun Air Force Model 36-1.

O.S.I. means Office of Special Investigations.

I had a banana tree in my backyard at Naval Station housing on Guam. Good eating, but way to mushy inside to mount on a J Frame.

Yeah, they do look weird, but they fit my hand so well, especially the smooth bananas.

I have both, but the smooth ones go on the .22s and the checkered ones go on the CF revolvers with heavier recoil.
