Well ... the pristine Model 29 (S217xxx) is still available.

It is a no-dash from 1961, but it has all of the right stuff, like 99% bluing and box with tools. The bigger upside is that it has a letter from S&W that it was delivered to Mr. Axe, who was on the Board of Directors and it has his full name engraved on it as well as a gold inlaid front site.

Hard to come up with a value - at least for me. Any thoughts on value price range?
