My Other Weekend Find, 14-3
This 3K prefix 38 Masterpiece showed up at my tables Sunday. It is only about 900 from the SN on my factory SAO and just as nice. I don't know who made the grips and they don't fit my hand at all so they have to go. Finding the old original magnas will be impossible but period targets will be what goes on it. Very reasonable price, minus the discount for aftermarket wood.

That’s a beauty and will surely shoot as good as it looks. Those stocks look like Mustang stocks but no matter. They wouldn’t cut it for me either. I like your idea of factory targets.

Nice looking M14, The grips are Hogue and should have a screw in the bottom of the butt. You like them or you don't. I do, but they fit my hand.
They come in both smooth and checkered and I prefer checkered. Any way you have a great looking M14 that you can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.

Awesome revolver right there and you can still find them quite reasonably priced.
I bought this one here recently with the box and tools for about 7 bills.

No screw in the butt like Hogue's.

Congratulations! I am sure that you will enjoy shooting it. My -3 was 1 of my great value purchases. Shipped in 1977. Magna stocks just don't do it for me. I use original wood target stocks. Also like Herretts. Bob
