Default Model 28 N48844

Found the box for this HP that I had in the early 70's. It was purchased in Christiansburg, VA. I added the S&W target stocks and a trigger shoe. Anybody have this gun?

Here is my box for a M36-1 that I bought from Hargrader’s (Sp?) on Cambria St. In Christiansburg, VA in the spring of1968. I took it to Vietnam in 70 and sold it to my battery XO just before I came home because I didn’t think I could fly it back with me.

Did we both buy from the same store and keep the box for the next fifty years?

I got mine at the Custom Gun Shop. Not certain of the street name, but it was the road that came from Blacksburg. I believe I got it in June, 1973, on my way home from school. I kept the box, manual and the tools. The tools have gotten mixed in with out tools.

I’ve been there too! In April 1975 I purchased a new M27-2 from Custom Gun Shop for $201.50. The difference is that I still have the M27 to go with the box.

By the way, $201.50 in 1975 dollars is $979.69 in today’s market adjusted for inflation.
