WIDE,smooth trigger
Saw a thread awhile back about serrated triggers and sore fingers, especially when shooting a lot of 22. I found my cure.

Many of my revolvers have smooth triggers on them. Some narrow, some medium and a couple wide ones. I prefer them to the serrated triggers. Nice Model 53(?) by the way.

My preferred trigger on any S&W is the "Combat" wide smooth. Was looking through my stash of extra parts the other day and found one "Target" wide smooth...the Combat wide is about as good as it gets for DA work... Have one Model 58 that someone removed the serrations and did a high polish on the trigger and it is really nice to shoot...
That said I have never had any irritation problems shooting the serrated triggers be they narrow or wide...

My 5" 27-2 and my 6" 66-1 both have wide smooth target triggers.
I like them too.
