What I learned from this thread is that square butt S&Ws look great with stag magnas.
15-3 looks fantastic with them.
K frame snubs, ditto.
I need some stag magna stocks.

Here she is before and after. I was thinking about grip adapters...what say ye all? If so, what color and will the clip scratch the frame? I would hate to scratch a 98% gun.

I like to match the frame. S/S with brushed aluminum and blued with blued.

I prefer the polished aluminum with blue guns, but that's all personal preference. I've never had a T grip scratch a frame. Just be careful taking it on and off.

Finally got around to picking a gun for Ken’s horns.

Default Patina is nice for older revolvers

I'm also a big fan of stag/elk antlers for firearm stocks and knife scales. However, on older revolvers I like to have some patina/aging on the stocks so that they look like they are from the same time period as the gun. Newly made elk stocks are bright white which, obviously, lots of you Forum members really like on your guns, but IMHO don't match some older revolvers. I've posted this before, but here's a set of Pat Grashorn's elk antler stocks on my 1927 .44HE 3rd Model (W&K)...both before and after I aged them.
