Default Price check - Presentation case

I have a Presentation cases that I'm going to sell but don't know what to ask. Can you help?

Rare case for 4" K-frame. This was an overrun from the 1970's or early 1980's commemorative. No markings in excellent condition.

What do you think?
Thanks

I’d put it on eBay and prepare to be surprised how much someone was willing to pay. Put a decent reserve price on it, so you’re not surprised by how little someone was willing to pay

I wouldn't be surprised if someone would pay $500 for that case (assuming it's a real S&W item).....

I also advise ebay, but do not put a reserve on it. Just start it at a dollar and the the market do its thing. You will easily clear $100 but probably more.

The biggest concern for the buyer would be if it is actually a S&W factory item? It sure looks like one except for the interior. Then again there are no markings except those drawn in pencil...

Dick...I have the same case I purchased many years ago from Harrison Carroll. I would value mine at $150.

That chipboard outer box is identical to one from a commemorative that used to reside in the safe.

That’s a Smith box.
