There should be a model number inside on the frame when you open the cylinder. It will say MOD ""

It is going to say MOD 15-3. That is the only model that fits the serial number and barrel length without a shrouded extractor rod. Even with a shroud, that one would have a 2 1/2" barrel, not the nominal 2" shown.

Welcome to the FORUM from Michigan! What you have is a 15 snub nose .
Normally, they are sought after{ including me} Guns are not sent out in serial # order. So, they go by ship date, not built date. Bob
