Default model 10-5 markings on stocks

Hello I have a 10-5,5 inch that has some letters and part of the serial number stamped on them. Both interior sides of the stocks have the letters KPC on them but only one side has the number 2XXXX which is the serial number. Any idea as to what the KPC represents? thanks

K frame, Plain Clothes style, hence KPC.

Stocks were always numbered only on the right panel.

You are welcome, Brian.

As an aside, I noted in a recent thread that "Plain Clothes" is a nickname. But even the factory used it, as seen by the KPC stamp. In official literature, they called them "Modified Magna" stocks, but "Plain Clothes" seems to have been in use from early on.
