Default Anyone recognize these grips?

Just picked these up since I found them interesting. No markings whatsoever.

Has anyone ever seen something like this?

Some sort of aftermarket copy. I recall seeing a company on the internet that makes these for several different makes. They look like they're molded from the originals.

The "shrinkage" makes me think "Franzite".

That was my first thought as well. The ribs on the back look very much like ones Iíve seen. Are you sure they arenít dimly marked in the inside?

By the color and the way the backs look ...FRANZITE GRIPS
and believe it or not they are still in business ... I swear I thought they went out of business twenty years ago ... but check out web site
www.franzitegrips.com - Home
Looks like they still make a lot of fake stag ... I might have to get a pair !

Gary, read it again… the page you cited says the original company went out of business in the ‘60s. Apparently the page is being maintained by an enthusiast who collects them and has some for sale. Franzite as a company died a well deserved death over 50 years ago.

Thanks for the correction ... I'm not very computer savy and easily fooled . At least my mind had it right when I thought they had gone out of business ... feels good to get one right now and then !
That also explains why several things on the site didn't work !
Franzite ... Gone but not forgotten !

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the input.

Checked the grips again and could not find any marking at all, but definitely Franzite grips.
