Well......as long as we're sharing photos, here's one of my Model 18's. It's an 18-3.

Here is the only K22 Combat Master Piece I own. Shipped in May of 1958. It letters with the McGivern gold bead front sight, target hammer, target trigger and target grips. It's my favorite .22 revolver to shoot.

That one pegs the cool meter. I love the front sight configuration. Did it ship to an individual? Any other info on the order?
Thanks for sharing,

Count me as a fan, but I have no photo. My 1953 model looks like most of the others, but has a target hammer. A terrific shooter.

This Ugly Pre-18 Can Really Shoot
A previous owner was obviously very frustrated with this thing and beat the heck out of it on something hard! When I got it the DA lever had been removed, cylinder bolt changed and rear sight replaced with post 68-type. The geometry was so messed up that someone almost destroyed it. Big dents at the muzzle, cylinder and front sight. I installed the target hammer, had to re-cut the cylinder bolt so it would cock, replace the rear sight (thanks to a generous member) and do a lot of clean up/touch up.
The end result is a VERY accurate K22 Combat Masterpiece, with a target hammer, which I really like. It was frustrating to deal with but it was worth the effort. 18's may come and go but this one is staying with me, just for it's great utilitarian value.

Mine is probably the roughest one of the bunch, but it gets shot....a lot! Unless it gets stolen, I intend for my kids to argue over it one day. Man it shoots good!
