Default What year is my Model 10?
It's stamped 10-9 but looks like they messed it up. It's a ship back by the looks of the C.A.I. stamp, but the serial number info for S&W is bleak online, so it was suggested I ask here. Many thanks!

The triple digit serial numbers are difficult to process from the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson which lists no BBJ. But all the BB_ prefixes listed are 1988-89. Someone here with their own data based may come closer.

Looks like a nice revolver, hard to beat a Model 10.
