Default Model 686 6" Factory adjustable front & rear

I was looking for production dates on my S&W 686 6" stainless
Revolver with rare adjustable Front sight and adjustable rear sight . I'll try to upload a picture of it when I can figure that out
Regards,

While a lot of people call the guns with the four-position adjustable front sight "silhouette" models, I'm of the opinion that that only applies to those guns with 8 3/8" (or longer) barrels.

I believe that the L-frame guns with that sight and barrels <8 3/8" were intended for PPC....but what do I know?

Adios,

Pizza Bob
