You can post a Wanted to Buy ad here:

But as you know, specify the need for the alloy K frame type of stocks. Universal fit of some type may be a more readily available option.

I have had the idea of taking a set of regular, steel frame magnas and deepening the relief by sanding. That would require removing the medallion washers.

Plan B, to get some grips on an M12 until either proper grips could be found or fitted, would be a set of Numrich reproduction Victory style grips. They offer them plain or checkered.

Link to checkered Numrich service grips;

You don't list which iteration you have if it is a dash model or not. If you do have an actual 12 no dash then you have a narrow frame and then the fun begins. Very few grip makers will make grips for a narrow frame. I have a 12-2 round butt that has been a REAL challenge to find grips. I am on Spegal's wait list but he only makes grips for the roundbutt narrow frame model 12s, so that doesn't help your square butt.

ETA: You're probably best off getting some standard K frame square butt grips and sanding them down until the gap at the top of the frame is eliminated.

Good luck!! Shop around!!

Depending on what you want this can be simple or difficult. If you just want stocks that fit and work start with standard K-Frame service stocks. Using 150-220 grit sandpaper simply lay this on a hard, flat surface and sand .040" off the back of the standard stocks. Use firm pressure and move the stocks front to rear as they are on the gun, not top to bottom. Check frequently and stop when the stocks match the grip frame of your Model 12. This will take only a few strokes so don't over do it! You will start seeing sanding marks on the stock washers when the correct amount of wood has been removed! Pressing firmly is important as it helps prevent rounding of the back of the stocks!!!

If you want original factory stocks for a MODEL 12 through 12-3 this will be more difficult as Model 12 stocks are getting quite difficult to find especially round butt! The Model 12-4 has the same frame dimensions as the steel K Frames and uses the standard stocks.

I have owned five Model 12s and still have four. Two currently have stocks fit by sanding as I have described.
