New Grips, what to do?
These just came today after waiting a year and a half for Culina to get some high figured English Walnut along the lines of what I was looking for. Now I have to figure out where to put them, a 99% 3.5" 27-2, a NIB M57-4", or a 4" M25--5 99%. They are nicer than I imagined!

Gorgeous! To me, targets look odd on 3.5" guns. I'd vote for the 25-5, should be a heavy barrel and high polish blue correct? Would look best in my opinion.

Order fancy Combats for 3-1/2” 27-2.

Somehow I think that a 3/5" 27 needs a nice set of magnas. The other two you mention would be perfect for your new beauties.

Never thought of ordering magnas, but 27 is a 3T. N combats might be nice too?
I have been waiting for these for 2 years

The correct answer is "musical stocks". Change them around every so often. That's why they all have the same grip frame.

Sweet looking stocks. I vote to go on a mission and find a LNIB vintage Model 29 to wear them.

My eye is always open for one of them. I haves a 29-5 classic DX, but it is Round butt, 629 no dash and 629-1. They belong on a blued gun. They might look good on my 38/44 Outdoorsman?

You could glue those to a broomhandle Mauser and they would look good. Beautiful!
Any of the guns you mentioned would be great.

John and Jennifer hit it out of the park again. That pair of grips is definitely a very, very long home run!! Thanks for sharing.

Pete,
I think those stocks would be appropriate for either a Model 1950 or a Model 1955 Target revolver in 45 ACP. Since you did not mention one of those, of the three you did mention, I would put them on the Model 25-5.
(I would put Magnas on the 3 1/2”, N frame. Fancy ones and with a grip adapter.)

Oh my, a tough decision. Gorgeous grips by a master. I guess my preference would be the 4" 25-5, so I could get a nice Heiser hand carved holster to put it in to take to a few BBQ's.

I think that an outstanding 27-2 3.5" deserves outstanding stocks. This is a pairing I really like.
