Just picked up some Buffalo bore in act calibers and it is impressive. Will my 682-2 handle a few of these, just for emergency elefunt or croc a gator attacks? Looks like a great carry round for "dangerous" encounters.
Best to all.

On previous post I meant to say ACP vs. ACT. These snow storms are getting to me.

I'd say your 686 will handle em fine. I wouldn't recommend them in a K frame though!!

I fired a cylinder of 180 grain Black Talon's in my 66-3. Let me tell you, that was a handful. L or N frame be better for sure.

Your 686 will handle them all day long. People see that BB ammo is more powerful than other stuff and assume it is loaded hotter. It isn't. Tim Sundles uses powders that aren't available to us handloaders, but loads all his ammo to SAAMI specs., that's how he gets better velocities than we can. The pressures are the same as any other factory load, and won't be any harder on your gun than anything else factory loaded.

Absolutely NO problem whatsoever shooting B/B 180gr. through a K-frame, I have been shooting them for years in my 13-1 and it loves them!

Your L frame will be fine, as would a K frame. K frames have issues with cracked forcing cones with LIGHT bullet full power magnums. 180 grains is not a light bullet in .357 magnum.
