Was at a gun show yesterday & saw a 98% + blue snubby, had $600 on it, no box. The vendor would not budge a penny from price. Had cash & would have went $500 w/o box, maybe $550 w/box & tools. Gun was what I am looking for, but I feel it is too high. Opinions?
(was is gun show buy mood, really hard not to pull trigger. Ha-ha)

Welcome to the forum.

$500 was still too much. Must be the altitude!

Yea, everthing seems higher here. But I did score a 63-3 LNIB at a local pawn right before end of year for $350 total.

My experience is that 2" model 34s are difficult to find. I paid $350.00 for the pinned square butt (1971) on top and $475.00 (too much possibly) for the 1984 round butt on the bottom. Still, this little round butt did more to improve my snub nose accuracy than any .38 could have because of the "cheap ammo." I put more than 6500 rounds through this Model 34 in a few months. These are hard to pass up when I see them at shows.

Your right about these being great shooters and making you a better shot.
Paid just north of 3 and worth every penny!
