I have a Mod 38 Body guard and the grips dont look as good fit wise as I've seen. This was pointed out to me by another member. I want a set of period grips for mine that fit better but I am a little unsure what to look for. The latch side grip looks like its damaged and sanded off or something. Thanks Dale

The old , diamond magnas for Bodyguard have a "high horn" - they are unusual/unique. You'll know when you see them.

Pitdog02 - They are hard to come by. I had a set months ago and they are the only ones I've ever had.

When I responded to your initial post, your second picture wasn't up. That right grip panel is correct.
The left side has either been changed out, or modified at top. ( I might have a left only - I'll dig thru wood pile)

I'll bet that gun was carried by a South-paw. Pretty unusual for the left grip to be worn and damaged. Usually the other way around.
