I saw a nice used 29-2, nickel, 4" barrel with turn line on cylinder but the rest of the finish is perfect. Correct stocks but not numbered to gun. For sale for asking price of $750 or trade for Snubby. Shipped 1972.

I'm thinking of trading my 34-1 for it.
I have an unfired, but cylinder turned Model 34-1, nickel, 2", with unopened tools and original box, docs and papers. It does have a small chip in the nickel finish above the forcing cone on the underside of the top strap. The flake is very small, about the size of a wooden kitchen match head. Shipped 1981. Pinned barrel. I'm not trading the Target Stocks.
Would some of you give me opinions on this trade. It's straight up, gun for gun, no extra money.
What do you think.

I would grab the 29-2 before the other person wakes up.

The magnum is worth about $200 more, IMHO.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going ahead with the trade. The seller did realize his gun was worth more, and I agreed.
We came to an equitable agreement. I dug Waaaaay Back in my ammo locker, and found a case of ten boxes, 50 rounds each box, of Federal green box, 230 Hardball.
I paid under $100 for the case, and to the seller it's worth $20 a box. BINGO... Deal!!
It nice to work with a fair guy who's not trying to pull something over on you. We both were honest in the deal, and it works out. I'll pick the gun up tomorrow when he gets out of work, and I'll have a few pictures to add to this later.
Thanks for the declaritive comments guys.
Bill
