What is the going price on a Md648 no dash all original gun with the box and all papers. I found one and dont know what to offer the guy. He tells me it has been shot about 250 rounds. I looked on Gunbroker and AuctionArms and did not see any. Are these scarce? Also the SCSW says this gun should have wood grips. Would these have been Combat or Alves Targets? If it should have the Combats I better knock off $100 just for that. It has rubber Hogueson it. Is this the proper grip? Thanks!

I believe the no dash 648s (and 617s for that matter) came with factory square butt combat grips (with fingergrooves). If these are missing, expect to pay $100-150 for another set. I believe the price would be in the $400-450 range for the gun without the grips, and $500-550 with the grips. While lots of folks like the 22 magnum cartridge, I cannot see paying $10-12 for a box of 50 rounds when I can reload .38 specials for $4 a box of 50.
